sniffnoy1. Thursday night.
Nothing really to say about this, except that I found Xiao reading my LJ and he said *he* had never heard "There was an old lady who swallowed a fly" either! And made me sing the whole thing for him.
Oh, and due to the midterm the next day, I actually went to sleep before 1:00. Well, I went to be then. I actually didn't fall asleep till like 3:00 or so.
2. FRIDAY
Part I. The Midterm.
Not allowed to write about this. Especially since, you know, they never change the questions. However, I have decided that I can safely mention that Tom was the only one taking the short midterm, and write about what was written on the blackboard (since it is irrelevant to the exam itself) :
...space. At this point there ought to be an LJ-cut while I list what was written on the blackboard, but I can't find it now. I left it on a desk in the 5th floor lounge...
Now the thing is that on the blackboard was written "No reading the blackboard" and also "No writing about this exam in your LJ", so I thought Etienne might stop me from writing it all down afterward, but he didn't, so presumably he wouldn't have taken it as he was fine with me doing it in the first place. No idea what happened to it. Hopefully I'll find it eventually. I remember a few but I want to save them for when (if?) I post the whole list.
Then hours of practicing and finally...
Part II. The Talent Show and aftermath
Now at this point there ought to be a much *bigger* LJ-cut as I describe every act that I think was worth describing. However, you know perfectly well I don't have that kind that kind of memory, and so will have to wait until I get a chronological list of all the acts before doing so. The "I remember a few..." comment applies here too - I don't want to take away from my big entry about it...
3. Today.
Despite going to bed at only about 2:00 or so, I woke up at 15:30 today. 15:30. It's worse for my roommate, though. He woke up just a bit after - and he's a first year. :-/
So that ends this. For now...
