Yes, I did it on Medium. It still counts. Hell, I had to kill The Guy 4 times before it took. I will not accept any taunting about doing it on Medium except from those who have done better.
(Interesting fact I learned on my last attempt: If you are hit by one of The Guy's attacks after you have killed him, the Game Over screen will briefly appear, but then the ending will continue and it will go away. You aren't dead, don't restart. You can still die during the ending, of course.)
The game reports a time of 10:45:00 and a death count of 2157. Of course, due to the frequent crashing, that is probably less than half the total time I spent on it. Hell, make that less than a quarter when you consider this is my third attempt on the game! If you want an accurate count, multiply both those numbers by HUGE.
Now to never play that game again. No, I'm not doing it on Hard.
...wait, there's a boss rush mode?
...nope, still not playing it.
