The Witches are here!
I realize when the Robots arrived I never did a snap-impressions-of-the-robots thing, like I did with the Pirates and the Knights. No, I'm not going to do that now. It would have been hard, too - the Robots contain some of the weirdest and hardest to evaluate cards. I mean, consider IBO-K9...
Eva - as with so many other cards, my initial reaction is, "I think I'd just be better off with Higashi".
Agathe - Interesting, but not really my style.
Sophie - Interesting, and very interesting innate. Good early game with all her DOT attacks, and Circle of Shadows works well with her innate. I may actually have to try her out.
Sadie - Neat, but once again, I think I'd rather just use Higashi.
Margo - Finally, someone else who can reduce damage! Though not as effectively as Marquis does, or even as effectively as Corny does. May have to try her out anyway.
Sigil - Ouch. This isn't always better than Caltrops, but it usually is. But then, when has Caltrops ever been good?
Periapt - The effects it guards against are pretty common, so...
Coffin Nails - Now this is neat. Sort of like a more costly Death Mask. I wonder what happens if you equip 3 of them?
Black Book - Goddammit. I am going to hate playing against this. This may end up being a good reason for me to stop using Marquis so much.
Tarot Card - What exactly is a "masculine robot"?
I haven't posted about Kongai in a while. Right now I'm still mostly using my old MLM/Higashi/Rumiko deck (now with Tome instead of Phylactery), but also using Gunbjorn/MLM/Balthazar (now with Doubloons instead of Totem). I've also started occasionally pulling out my old unused Yoshiro/Phoebe/Tafari deck. I can't claim to know it very well but it seems to be effective. Also pull out Ubuntu/Anex/Higashi every now and then... now there's a deck that was obviously made before the expansion. Thinking about putting together Marvin/Balthazar/something, but haven't gotten around to doing so yet.
Oh well, first let's get these!
