I made skill rank 30!

sniffnoySome of that is from someone who quit against me before the game started twice in a row, but I have enough that I'd still be at 30 even without that. Also, that sort of thing happens to everyone now and then, so to discount it as something unusual is silly.
OK, I realize there's no sharp discontinuity from 29, or any special significance to 30 or anything. (As opposed to 29 having the significance of being past the part where your losses are softened.) But it's like, you're at 29, maybe you're at low 29 and you lose a game and fall back down to 28. You're at 30, maybe you're at low 30, well then you fall back down and you're at 29, not 28. So 30 means you're not going to directly fall back down below 29.
(Also, the Kongregate Wikia's Kongai FAQ describes skill ranks 30-32 as "A good player; they probably know what they're doing". But, that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Especially seeing as I won't necessarily *stay* at this high a rank for long.)
Still no Balthazar, unfortunately. I actually have just been playing with my old MLM deck since the update; haven't tried out the nerfed Anex or nerfed Ubuntu yet. As for new cards, aside from Starbuck I have Ranec and Auger, who seeem interesting, but I'm not sure I actually want to use them. Well, I'll just have to keep playing. Accursed 3% drop rate...
Edit: Huh, apparently there's a bug where it doesn't always notify you when you win a card. Apparently I won an Ornamental Egg sometime today. So as soon I do get a copy of Balthazar I'll already have the item I intend to use with him...
Also, now I see why people are saying Zina is so good now. Did Mistress's Command used to stack? :-/
Further edit: Oh, I think see. I think the difference isn't that it didn't stack before, it's that before it could only proc against one of your characters instead of all of them.
