Explanation attempt #3

sniffnoyOK, this is the most confusing part. Perhaps I should split it in two.
First, people talked on the phone; some of it was real (Ingrid attempting to locate Tom Cullen) and some was not. I knocked on a chair (representing a door) and asked Linda if she wanted to buy an octopus. (It seems I was playing quite a few different characters. Also, Paul (see below) had to say "It seems there's someone at the door" before Linda answered.) She said she'd take six, but I only had three. Well, she'll take three. OK, I'll have to go back and get them. That might have been where that scene ended? At some point I sat on the chair and was a rock. This all ended up being deleted anyway when we later ran out of memory on the camera before the final scene.
Then, Paul (who had just been handling the camera till this point) gave a monologue, still handling the camera, which Linda attempted to provide the acting for. Well, they both tried to match what the other was doing, but at some point air guitar was confused for biting someone. At the end, she fell into a coma for 3 years. I suggested that we record flashback noises to reduce confusion, and Linda did so.
Then we saw what happened when Linda awoke from her coma, and entered Ingrid's service.
Then, Linda explained why facial expressions are useful, and demonstrated some.
...and I think that bridges the gap between the beginning and the end.
...what? There are still gaps in the logical structure if not the chronological? Well, too bad! That's what happened! To the extent that I'm going to attempt to explain it, anyway. I suppose you'll see it all eventually...
