...so when writing up the description of the algorithm, I of course referred to my code to remember just how it worked. And, guess what, writing it up, and comparing it to what I actually wrote, looks like there's an error in the code. It shouldn't affect anything - it deals with addition - but I better go back and recompute things again, to be sure.

...actually, thinking about it, it definitely doesn't affect anything. Still, it'll make the proof easier if I fix it.
