So after wandering around for a bit...

sniffnoySo in comparison to Hyde Park, where I knew of no game stores anywhere, here I've already seen 3. Admittedly, two of those were when my parents were helping me move in and we were driving around and I couldn't tell you where they might actually be, but one I found while wandering around today so is certainly in walking distance.
Also there is an arcade right nearby and it is awesome! They have lots of pretty recent stuff but they also have lots of really old machines, like an original Donkey Kong machine! They also had a Mr. Driller machine... obviously I have little reason to play such, but it was 25¢ (a lot of their machines are, it seems), so I gave it a try. Unfortunately, the joystick control is awful. With 3 lives I should have done much better, but I didn't really feel like trying again.
Truth House, unfortunately, is still pretty deserted. There is most certainly not a perpetual Smash game going yet.
