Wherein Youlian is on the charts

sniffnoyOne thing I have not written about here is Geometry Wars 2. I mean, I wrote that Youlian bought it, kicking off the whole buying-games-for-Graeme's-360 thing, but that's all.
Anyway, there is one other person on the account's friends list who has the game, and so when we were playing the demo, which is just deadline mode, Youlian was basically trying to beat his high score. Of course, it was the demo, so it didn't save. But when we got the actual game, beating his high score became basically the baseline goal in all 6 modes. Which in fact we did pretty quickly, except for in King. Also, after a while, he retook the high score in Waves, though recently I got the high score back for us in both of them.
But for the most part it's not been me playing and getting high scores, it's been, as you might expect, Youlian, who is of course much better at the game. And the real news has been on his playing Sequence mode. Because he got, some time ago, a score of about 127,000,000 - good enough to put him in the top 1000 worldwide. Then 137,000,000 - within the top 500. Then 149,000,000 - within the top 250. Now apparently he's in the top 150 - haven't seen the actual score.
So, yeah, pretty damned impressive. He says he's going to have to stop when he gets much further though, like before he gets to the first page. But that's how you get to the first page!, say I. Yes, he points out, that's sort of the problem. Oh, Youlian, actually having priorities... but in this case, there's another reason. Were he to get that high, it would be the house's account name on the front page. And what is that account name? "NoConsent". Yes, it's apparently a rape joke. No, I don't know who came up with it. I've pointed out that it doesn't necessarily have to be taken that way, but I get the idea it generally will...
