Brawl; Shuo

sniffnoySo Matt has brought Brawl. It does not, however, yet have all the characters and stages unlocked. I'm going and doing some of that, but also we hope to get the save file from Aaron. But apparently Brawl's saves are somehow "copy-protected" and you need a special SD card to do so? Hopefully we can get the house to pay for such a thing if it is necessary. (They seem to be willing to pay for a lot this year, including some charity that Jack suggested. Really.)
I think I like Ness better than Lucas now. I'm not really sure how to kill with Lucas anymore. Up smash anyone can avoid most of the time, and he doesn't have Ness's killer throws or back-aerial. Side smash, but, well, eh. I wonder if his down smash is any good? Or rather, if there are cases when it's better than his Fsmash...
All of the first-years are new to the game, it seems. I'm beating them with ZSS without too much trouble right now, and I'm not very good with her.
So I was speaking to Jim the other day and he says about how Shuo had told him something- "Wait. You spoke to Shuo also?" Yeah, apparently she's on AIM occasionally now. "So there's been a whole stream of communication from Shuo?!" Indeed - she didn't just come out of hiding to fire off a solitary message, no she's actually online and speaking! Of course I had to see about this.
And so today I signed on to AIM and lo! There was a Shuo! Yaaaay!
An interesting exchange:

(08:58:28 PM) Tavgfrg: "Shuo is evil and wants to take over the world" is mostly a running joke (well, not so much anymore, as the second-years have no idea of your reputation; at least one consistenly confuses you, when you're mentioned, with Jun Poon), but it's also a useful cognitive shortcut, so it's easy to forget sometimes how much the truth diverges from that despite it hardly being based on reality at all

which would seem to be contradicting that, but then I suppose she only said she wishes she could be that interesting.
