The stains on the east wall of the lounge that have been here since my first year, that I was told were the result of the orgy of destruction that was the last day of school the year before my first, are gone.
Most of the names on the beam running across the ceiling on the lounge are gone. Tufts House has a short enough memory as it is, and now this? I don't think those who made it up there intended to have their names erased in a few years! OK, they had almost certainly been erased at least once before, but judging by some of the dates up there, not in quite a while. Now only "SAYER", "HSI", "MB", and "LC" remain.
"Sherry Gutman wuz here", was, thankfully, left alone.
However, people have been completely graffiti-ing up the study lounge. All sorts of stuff. Some first-year has been copying well-known poems onto the walls. The best, I think, however, is the word "POOP" written in big chalk, with the 'O's turned into the eyes of a rather stern looking face.
It's nice to see Tufts House taking control of Tufts House.
