While I have heard little about it, now is list-making season. The randomization has happened but the actual picking of rooms is yet to come. This year's first-years have actually gone ahead and planned their doubles, and as of last I heard, Brianna is the only one possibly to end up with a random first-year - but this is because she's borderline and could get a single. (There'll be one less single next year, as Jack and Sarah are returning and taking one of the swing rooms for Hannah.) Well, the first-years would know better than I just what her current status is...
Meanwhile, congratulations to Aaron, who'll be RA in Hitchcock next year! Steve, meanwhile, has heard nothing, and so presumably will not be an RA next year. Oh well.
So as a much-delayed conclusion to the game of Assassins, Winston organized a showing of Battle Royale in the lounge tonight. Aaron didn't want to watch because he considers it a butchery of the book, and so, well, he started a public reading of the book, in his room - him and Grant, me and Brianna joining after chapter 0, and Winston for a chapter or two later on - us all taking turns reading. It went pretty well, so we're going to continue it next Saturday. Though, since we're already at chapter 21 or so, you probably wouldn't want to join right now if you haven't read the book before.
