I didn't go to Sports Frolic this year, being busy with my algebra homework. As usual, very few did. Crazily enough, though, we did really well, and almost won. But we got killed on one thing: Attendance.

What with Starcraft working, I wondered if maybe some of the things I had taken off startup had actually sped this thing up enough that it might work more generally? But no, Worms Armageddon was still too slow. Goddammit.

Crazily enough, I managed to get Chu-Chu Rocket out today. Now, Peter's PS2 broke some time back; the motor that turns the disk isn't working. Some people spoke of repairing it, but if that will actually happen, I don't know. (Kenneth?) In the meantime, Aaron's TV has been turned off - since all people use it for is the PS2, right? The DC hasn't seen use in quite a while, with no-one having played Mr. Driller since first quarter. Well, the power switch on Aaron's TV is now just totally gone, and while it's possible to turn the thing on, it's pretty much a crapshoot. So, we moved the DC to the main TV for this.

As for Chu-Chu Rocket, it was me and Nathan, along with 2 computers. He found the game "very stressful" and too fast for him. Too bad. Or, as he also said, RoboRally was hard enough when it wasn't real time. Still, maybe I'll get it out some more now? (Mainly, though, I see a lot of Starcraft in my immediate future. Er, well, the bit right after all the piles of work.)

(Aaron on Chu-Chu Rocket: "What I like about this game is that it makes so much /sense/.")
