Ian is recognized?
Apr. 14th, 2007 10:08 pmIanSTAAFL, as has been said, cannot possibly get official recognition, but Ian must have done something to PTC because they granted him use of TANSTAAFL (the real one) for tonight, as he sells hamburgers and grilled cheese along with his usual retinue of snacks. So is he going to be running TANSTAAFL now, actually hiring people, etc? He says maybe. He might just do it as a weekend thing. Will he continue to run IanSTAAFL for his own profit during the rest of the time? I would assume so... but this raises the question of who's paying for his stuff. Certainly so far he's bought all of it himself, and if he's going to be selling it for his own profit, he can't possibly be getting PTC to subsidize it. Maybe not on his latest trip? I don't know.
In other news, Aaron has brought us DDR pads. Real DDR pads. As in hard pads. Yes, he owns a pair. And now they're here. Though the down button doesn't work on one. He's had DDR here all year but no pads to play them on, and, well, now he does.
There was something else I meant to write, but I forget what.
In the meantime, the story of Jake's bus ride? Eh, some other time.
