Geo Symbols can /attack/?!

sniffnoyAaron was playing Disgaea 2, and... on the enemy turn, a Geo Symbol attacked. But not him - it attacked an enemy. The enemy countered and destroyed the Geo Symbol. I have to wonder if this would have caused a color combo, but the Geo Symbol wasn't on anything at the time.
What the hell? Aaron had never heard of such a thing before. I've suggested he should see if he can capture a Geo Symbol.
