So on Wednesday Bill & Dave called a special meeting of the house. I, of course, began to take notes, but stopped when I lost track of what was going on. Basically, they were demanding that either they be added to Sean's unofficial listhost, or it be renamed, because when Housing found out about this, they thought our current system was nuts, and are insisting that anything bearing the name of the house must actually be for the whole house. If we don't go along, bad stuff will happen.

Well the discussion went in circles for about an hour, it becoming pretty clear that the ultimate resolution would be to ask Sean to rename it, but somehow people just kept on talking about it instead of trying to declare a decision.

Well, finally, I got tired of this, and after waiting with my hand up for several minutes, I finally ask, so are we going to get to elections and money allocations, or what? And Dave says no, we're not, we're doing that at the normal house meeting tomorrow. I reply, "Ah. so I'm wasting my time here." and get up to leave. Someone points out I'm house secretary and should be taking notes. I reply, "This isn't a real house meeting, this is a special meeting. I don't do special meetings." and continue to leave. Dave formally releases me from taking notes this meeting FWIW, and I thank him and return my computer to my room.

I then proceed to run around the hallways making weird noises.

General consensus seems to be that I "won" the meeting.
