Dare I believe your icon? Am I not the only Illuminati enthusiast in Tufts? *is hopeful*
(A really really inept enthusiast who invariably loses first, but an enthusiast nonetheless.)

Uh... I don't know that "enthusiast" would be the right word... basically, after many games of it which have dragged on for ridiculous amounts of time due to Josh Zelinsky's stalling tactics, I don't really play it anymore. Tom has pointed out to me that this is really because none of the people we were playing with were really much good at diplomacy, so I suppose I'd be willing to give it another try, but for now the deck is mostly there for people to borrow. Also, several cheating-allowed games have taken their toll on the deck... the deck is now missing various cards (specifically Assassination) and contains various duplicates. (Josh tells me now at PROMYS they have completely banned introducing components from other sets as a result of this.) I also have Illuminati Crimelords, which I have yet to get out - well, I got it out once, but that one time, Etienne won the game before it even started, during the auction! Equal parts bad bidding by everyone else and an utterly ridiculous draw which included barely any crooks.

But also I have many more games here! Remember, all this is on my door! Well, not the stuff about Josh and Tom and Etienne, but the rest is.

And while the icon was obviously taken from the game (or rather, the SJ website), I use it just because it's a Discordian symbol, not because of the game.

If you'd like to start a gaming event, you could definitely reserve some space for it in a central location and get it announced somewhere (fliers or whatever). Is there some kind of Internet-based method you could use to get the word out for people at your school? I mean, we have one, and your school is somewhat more tech-savvy...

I was thinking of doing that last year (even drew up a crappy flier in MS Word), but there's one big problem: That takes effort!

Oh, of course. Not willing to work for your games. I see. :-P

I very nearly was, actually, and then I found out about GESH, the card game club, and decided I didn't want to compete with them. I actually joined, but they're generally not at a time I can go. And anyway this year I'm having a bit more success starting games just in Tufts, as I've noted.
