Me: Hey! We are sick in the service of good!
Me: Asparagus shall not disparage us! [OK, admittedly, this one *had* no context.]
Grant: It's not an analogy, it's an ovary!
Also, Wai Lee won Weenie of the Week for leaving his roommate to die.
So as you may recall, last year when I got T&E, Mark always wanted to play it simply because of the box art. And indeed, today I got it out - me, Mark, and Mike (a first-year). It was a very low-scoring game - Mike won 6 to Mark's 5 to my 4. I really got screwed in blue. But I have to say, it was a real success. They definitely seemed to want to play again sometime, which is, after all, what I'm really going for. I originally wanted to get out Duel of Ages again, but T&E turned out to be a much better choice.
Also, there have been several first-years asking me if I have SoC, and of course I always tell them yes, though I have not actually gotten that out yet. Hm - I wonder if I've made it sufficiently clear that the games I have are free for anyone to borrow. Well, to anyone reading this, if you want to borrow one of my games, just ask! If I can't play at the time, that's OK! If you can't even find me, but I've left my door open, hell, you can just take it and leave a note! Just don't lose the pieces (and be careful with the ones in bad condition (such as Settlers)).
Whee. Things are yay.
Also, Kate is nice. She gave me an apple. Food is good, food is good.
So I finally went to CVS and got the bleach so I can really wash my socks, but nobody has a measuring cup! Oh wait, I just realized I didn't even think of asking Bill and Dave... well, I'll worry about that tomorrow...
