So Bill and Fiona have returned home with baby Rowan, though they've not really left their room.

In other news, Sayer has now introduced We ♥ Katamari to Tufts House...

And I got a bunch of boardgames I ordered. Most importantly, Set. If I can't introduce people to these games starting with Settlers or Carc, I'm sure I can start with Set, right? :D I started playing against Jack and immediately picked up a few who had never seen the game before... and this was late at night when most were asleep.

...yeah, I think that's all. The Co-op got more copies of Kernighan & Pike so I no longer have to borrow Pavel's.

I've been told that We ♥ Katamari isn't as good as the first one. But then, I've never played it, so I can't vouch for that.

Settlers is a great game. If you want to hang out with a bunch of people you don't know, I will be playing it with some of my friends on Saturday night.

<rant>This place needs a goddam board game club. They have a bridge club and a go club and even a CCG club but no general boardgame club. I have a big list of games I own (and yes, they're with me, not at home) on my door and *nobody* has asked to borrow one as of yet. The 2 games of Carc I've started, I wasn't able to continue to start. I'm thinking Set is now my best hope for starting more games here - from Set to, say, Chrononauts, and then on to Settlers and Carc, and then all the rest... - but even Set people weren't even willing to play because they didn't know what it was! Gah! Whatever happened to playing games *because* you don't know what they are? Of course, people joined Set once they actually saw it being played, but I was only able to start it at all because Jack was already a fan of the game... *shakes head*. What's really crazy is, I was saying about how I was going to get the A Game of Thrones boardgame (it arrived the other day with Set), and some people were saying they'd like to play that - a long, complicated wargame (long and complicated relative to most other games I have, I mean, not relative to wargames :P ), yet they wouldn't play shorter, simpler games!</rant>

But sure. I haven't played Settlers since PROMYS. I played Carc and Keythedral and China and Ingenious and YINSH, but no Settlers. Do you know anyone who does regular gamenights around here?

You should start a club. I would play. I know a few others who would too. I totally want to play the Game of Thrones boardgame.

Hey, whenwhere was this Settlers game supposed to be? It didn't occur to me until after I left that you weren't going to MLK and hence probably weren't accounting for that... well, by the time you read this, presumably you guys will already have dispersed. Also I'm pretty tired.

The problem is, how can I start a club without members? I have no idea how I'd go about finding people...
