Harry records again
Apr. 5th, 2008 03:52 pm...so I volunteered to be house secretary once again. Only afterwards did I remember that, hey, house meetings are pretty boring now, there's a reason I often skip out on them...
There was not one single contested position this quarter. Democracy in Tufts House seems to have given way to consensus. (This is not new to this quarter, I should note; certainly last quarter it happened too.) None of the other people who ran for president or vice president first quarter tried to depose Colin and Eve. Not even any joke candidates, and with no voting, that means no bizarre speeches. Somewhat disappointing, though all of us can claim we were elected unanimously without rigging the vote.
Nobody remembers what the Kitchen Wench is actually supposed to do, but apparently it's now Aaron.
