Double tiebreaker!
Oct. 14th, 2006 04:49 amPlayed T&E again today, this time against Mike, Supriya, and Noah. I won - I got a *lot* of points in external conflicts - including one where Mike, attacking me, decided he would just not bid anything, because I'd need 4 blue tiles in my hand to win, and, well, I'm sure you can guess how that went (though by that point I was quite strong in blue and it didn't really help me so much) but nobody seemed to realize I was weak in black the entire game; apparently everyone else was strong in it. I launched a big war on the very last turn just for the sake of getting a black monument, which, it being the last turn, I would only get 1 black point from. That 1 black point won me the game though - my 10 black tied against Noah's 10, my 11 green then tied against his 11, but my 13 red beat his 11. Noah got a lot of points from monuments - well, everybody except me did, but especially Noah, who kept control of his monuments for a long time - but I made up for it with all my war scoring. I had my red, green, and blue leaders all in the same kingdom which had quite a lot of all those colors and was close enough to several other important kingdoms that I could attack them repeatedly.
Also, Supriya forgot every single time that internal conflicts are decided by red tiles.
Yay, double tiebreaker.
