More Proto Man

Oh, right, I just remembered that yesterday, when I read the Proto Man question, somebody answered "Forte". Gah. You'd think if you're going to bother to answer with the Japanese name, you'd at least get the right answer. (For the record, "Blues" would have been accepted.) Michael Ty tells me that Brian Lee answered it with either "Zero" or "X" (yay, wrong series!), though he forgets which, and somebody else answered "Dr. Light".

That's right, a glitch caused Dr. Light to go wandering off on his own, and he was repaired by his creator's (his parents'? God's? The creators' of the Mega Man series?) enemy.

Yay for not listening to the first clue.

Quiz Bowl from the other side (part 3)

Today we only had 4 games at a time (instead of 5), so for once I actually got a separate person to recognize (Noam), or rather I did in the first round, in the second he was reading and I was recognizing. Yay! Not shorthanded today! But tomorrow we'll have 6 playing at a time...

Other than that, not much to write about today. We finished even quicker, and yes, we're back to just using old NAQT packets. We'll put some of our own questions in when we do the playoffs, though.

Yesterday Dr. Ostfeld stopped in and watched for a bit. Today Anna did.
