Not the HMMT entry
Feb. 19th, 2005 11:15 pmI'm going to write a full entry on HMMT tomorrow (we came in 3rd, by the way ) - just one thing I felt like relating:
As we're waiting for the Guts round to start, some guy wearing a nametag (it read something like "Dan Schwarz", BICBW) comes up to us and asks if Annie Ma is here. No, we say, she's not. You're sending 11 teams, says he, and Annie Ma isn't here? No, I'm afraid she isn't on the math team at all.
I'm sure this is significant somehow, but why that might be escapes me at the moment.
