The first stop

...third, actually, as we stopped to pick up my grandma. Forgot about that. Though she's been in the car this whole time.

So I'm back at Gabe and Ethan's house[0], in Lexington, for tomorrow starts PROMYS.

I'm not the only oblivious one in the family:
Mom: You know, MIT actually has a campus in Oxford.
Me: Heh, so they've got one both in Oxford and in Cambridge.
Mom: Oh, is it in Cambridge? I don't know.

Hm. A cat just came up to the (transparent) door and looked right in. I almost thought for a second it was theirs. Then it walked away. They used to have a cat, named Jasper; she's dead now. I really don't think they've gotten a new one.

[0]Isn't it kind of funny - I always say "Gabe and Ethan's house", never, say, "Uncle Wayne's house" or "Aunt Rochelle's house", but I always say "Uncle Marty's house", never "Rachel and Hannah's house" or "Aunt Ilene's (sp?) house".
