Jun. 18th, 2004 02:18 pmAnother reading day, another failed attempt to start a game of Illuminati. Well, we got some Munchkin in, though, though we didn't finish.
As I've said, I'm not taking any electives, so I wore my elective stickers on my shirt.
It appears my failure to fill out the NHS community service form is nothing special.
I recently started reading [name removed]'s[3] LJ, and in response to the first comment I make, she asks, "Who are you?" I say I am half a potato; surely that is enough to identify me. But, really, even if it's not, I have to wonder why she asked. Had she just clicked on my LJ she'd have found more than enough information to uniquely identify me. I mean a few posts down I even *directly stated my name* in a comment[0]. So today during the NHS meeting, or during the junior (well they say we're officially seniors now, but I think that's ridiculous) class meeting - the one flowed right into the other, so I don't recall when - she actually asked me, in real life - well first she said something I didn't hear because I wasn't listening. I got the feeling it was directed towards me, though, so I said, "Huh? What? I wasn't listening." This got a strange reply: "Who are you?" "What?" "In terms of virtual reality and such." Now those weren't her exact words, but I do recall that she did use the phrase "virtual reality". What a strange way of putting it. Anyway, after I replied "I don't understand," she then said something along the lines of "I have my suspicions."
Now clearly the above paragraph *directly* states that I (Sniffnoy) and I (Harry Altman) are the same person, and this sentence even more so. But I can only assume that, as had Hua bothered to actually, in her attempt to determine my identity, actually thought to read my LJ at all, she would have known it for sure, she will see this sentence neither and thus it is of no help to her.
So *thbbbpt* on you for not even really trying, [name removed]. Not that, in all likelihood, you're reading this. :D
(Which leaves the question of why I'm addressing you. But then, I suppose the same question could be asked every time I write an LJ entry. :P )
