Who dares defy the Thieves' Guild?!
Jan. 17th, 2004 11:38 pmWell, Catesby and Looney apparently. They each took a 19[0] point penalty for it, though, so a big "Ha" on both of them. Well. It's not like the other Thieves and I didn't take the penalty too, but at least they... um... well, it was a moral victory!
To make things worse, Rubric forgot to declare himself Greedy. We can kick him out of the Guild for that, you know. Bluebottle and Breadman and I would have taken a 15 point penalty (though Human and JediSquid would have gained 5) because of that - of course then came Catesby and Looney and made sure we *all* lost 19!
Now, had only *1* of them done so, and had he been Greedy, we would have all gained 25 like we were supposed to.
The moral of the story: Nobody knows.
In other news, I tried to buy the remains of Tom Lehrer today, but he's not dead yet, so I had to settle for "The Remains of Tom Lehrer" (his boxed set) instead.
ADDENDUM: I should probably mention that The Rules's recent attempt to win failed.
