Aug. 13th, 2005 11:40 pmUpon Googling "Roxul AFB", I find that it is actually "Acoustical Fire Batt", not "Acoustical Fire Butt". It's a batt insulation (whatever that is) that both has "excellent acoustical dampening properties" and is fire-resistent. What a batt is, I'm not sure, but it seems to refer to its shape or its exact form.
