So today 3 more summer programs arrived. Already here were us and BUSTI/BUTI (whichever it is now), and also I think Upper Bound, but now also ITRP, Summer Challenge, and something new called "Visual".

So last night there was an Illuminati game (same players as the day before - Josh, Rebecca, Chris, Eli, Erick, and Ebay) that went so long that they actually decided to call it a draw. Hah. Actually I'm glad Josh ordered me to bed quite a while before it was over, or else I probably would have stayed and watched it, having little better to do.

So, The Game has become quite prevalent here, with ADan losing... well, just ridiculously often. It's gotten to the point that just looking at ADan causes lots of people to lose. Alex decided to just forfeit.

ADan: But you realize that if you forfeit The Game... you lose.

It's been suggested that "I lost" should go in the T-shirt as a quote for ADan... but then just looking at the T-shirt might cause people to lose.

So last night it happened that we found a bunch of the first-years playing Truth or Dare... Josh gave them a warning to be careful with that game, citing some disgusting things that had happened as a result of it at his school...

Anyway this led to a discussion of strip x, for various games x, both how it could be implemented and how it would affect the game (most especially in the case of Strip Mafia). Of course we also just tried to think of more and more ridiculous games, and this continued at dinner today, eventually resulting in Strip The Game. "Make sure not to tell ADan about this!"

But the definite winner has to be, Strip Russian Roulette. Or, "Why did we bury him with a shoe missing?"

OK, I should get back to work on my zeta functions problems. By which I mean the ones for the actual class, not the one Dustin gave me.

Hmm... Strip Mafia. Let's picture a typical game at PROMYS 2003.
"OK, the mafia has killed Diana. Everyone else wake up, discuss."
[Very brief discussion.]
"Yeah, so accusation on Jackie. Because she's Jackie."
"I like your reasons. Defense?"
"C'mon, guys, I haven't lasted past the first day in any game yet tonight. And I'm running out of clothing items to lose."
"One might think that was the point."
"Fine, withdraw the accusation. [pause] Let's go for Yi instead this game."

LOL. Actually, the idea suggested was that you had to remove a piece of clothing everytime you voted to kill someone who turned out to be innocent (2 if it was the inspector).
