sniffnoySo, today was AIME. I got 7. Normally that would be good, seeing as how I normally make lots of calculation errors and get no more than 4, but the AIME was exceptionally easy this year and just about everyone got at least a 7. Tom's predicting an index of 230. And of course I only got 116 on the AMC...
Didn't make stupid calculation errors, this year, then, but plenty of failure-to-see-what-to-do-when-really-it's-pretty-clear errors. Maybe they shouldn't give it in the morning...
Tom, meanwhile, is really annoyed that he's taking the alternate, as he's sure it's going to be more at an ordinary difficulty.
