Have I ever talked here about pigeons?
Ever since I was little, I have wanted to pick up a pigeon. I used to always chase the pigeons around, trying to get close enough to pick one up, without scaring it away.
One day, I got *really* close - I was about to pick the bird up - but right then my mom saw me, and stopped me - it's a dirty bird, she said, you might get sick.
I still want to pick up a pigeon someday. I'll use gloves, I figure.
Last night I had a dream where I touched a pigeon and had to go to the hospital. I told my mom about this at dinner today, and she said pigeons can have fungi, which are really nasty to treat.
I still want to pick up a pigeon.

(The other stuff I said I would write about will come in a separate entry; it didn't seem right to include it here.)

Date: 2005-01-31 12:48 pm (UTC)I'm not sure what kind of bird it was. I'm fairly sure it wasn't a pigeon. It was small.
