I found the official rules to Nok Hockey... and they don't really say very much.

Yeah... somehow I don't think very many people ever actually play by those.

...there is another way to play Nok Hockey besides the way the rules describe? I mean, thats how I always played...

Well, the famous "if it's in your goal zone, you can shoot by squeezing it between your thumb and the block" rule. Also other weird "if it's in your goal zone" shots, such as hitting it off the top of the block, or rolling it down your stick. Other variants are always playing by turns, regardless of where it lands, or playing that the person who gets to hit it is whoever's half - yes, *half* of the board it's on. Also weird rules involving the various circles on the board.

Oh, it doesn't even mention how you test whether something went in or not when you're not sure!
