Just got back from CST

sniffnoy...CDT, technically, but it sounds a bit strange to refer to the *place* as CDT. Anyway. Did you know they do everything an hour earlier there? As in, relative to *their own time*. Meaning they do things at the same *actual* time as EST. Which *totally defeats* the *entire point* of having time zones in the first place. They ought to just merge with EST so they do things at the right time.
...details later. Sleep now. I have just read (read: skimmed) through all 49 new entries on my Friends page. I get the distinct feeling I'll have to reread quite a few of those later when my brain is working. G'night all.
