Final entry before vacation - 3 LJ cuts

sniffnoyWell, it looks like I'm not getting re-elected Executive, as I'm already on Nomic Break, so I'm not even going to get to declare my candidacy...
Looney is both currently both the King and the Vice-Executive. Kind of strange, no? ...oh wait, I just went on Nomic break so sorry, he's both King and *Executive*. Kind of powerful, no? Well, not really, seeing as how right now the Executive is no more than a tiebreaker, but still...
Anyway... the first LJ-cut is, I thought, remember the cliques thing? Now that my and other people's friends lists have changed, I'll do it again! Only this time I'm dropping the size requirement; size 2 will be included, there aren't many.

Date: 2004-08-29 10:28 pm (UTC)Incomplete quotes were on purpose to save space: just seeing the phrase "Barbie Girl", for example, should be sufficient to get you to remember the whole funniness, and if people want you to explain the little inside joke on your t-shirt, you can do so (not that they'll be able to read the back after a few washings probably though, but that at least wasn't our fault...).
The 4-space thing was I think about some funny thing Li-Mei did with her hands. Comm Ave. is there because it's funny; note which name follows.
Glenn says the even and odd numbers thing every year, so we didn't put that on. I don't think I heard about the "e to the e to the e to the lot" thing or "ebay" until after we made the shirt; maybe they weren't submitted or maybe none of us understood them so we left them out. As for the "rigorous inquisition" thing, I especially liked the "almost fanatical devotion to associativity" line and was planning to put that on the shirt but then I guess I forgot when we were making the shirt. Apologies.
