Randomity, part n+1
Jan. 7th, 2004 08:36 pmSo only 2 days after digest 1346 is published, digest 1347 is too. Perhaps all the priests were on vacation and are now publishing all the digests that should have come out last month? It makes sense - I got digested (yay! (I haven't been digested in a while))(I wrote the answer to 1347-04 (Why did they censor the curses? I don't think they normally do that. (And was there really any need to censor the word "ass"?))), but it was from December 20. I think it's pretty clear that they didn't suddenly get 10 digest-worthy Oracularities in 2 days. :P
The front of the bus was full on the way home today, so I had to sit with the freshmen.
Random math fact of the day: Every group of order 5 or less is Abelian. Not that there *are* many such groups (Identity group, C2, C3, C4, the Klein 4 group, and C5), but they *are* all Abelian. Hehe, I kept annoying Mickey with this today. I just said it over and over in random contexts. He didn't know what it meant, so he thought it was a Nomicron rule. :P
That's it, really.
