Who smells?

So, everyone knows about "Jingle Bells, Batman Smells", right? (If you don't, you may want to watch this Tom Scott video about it. :) ) Well, my aunt just told me that when she was a kid, they used to sing "Jingle Bells, Santa Smells". The lyrics she gave were:

Jingle bells,
Santa smells
50 miles away
Blows his nose
In Cheerios
And eats it every day

...OK, actually, what I heard her say was "and Cheerios", not "in Cheerios", but that didn't make a lot of sense, so I changed it to "in".

So, hm.
