Dec. 10th, 2010 07:29 pmThought: why aren't correlation coefficients conventionally reported as angles? I mean, they *are* (cosines of) angles. Maybe it's just me but, I would think the geometric intuition that would come of describing two variables as being at a 45° angle, instead of having r=.707, would be helpful.
