Well, I'm home. Meaning you can expect to find me on AIM again. As for last night.

So last night was the night when, simply put, stuff was destroyed. There are probably at least 2 reasons for this: It's the last night, so there's pretty much no chance of getting in trouble afterwards, and, as Sean pointed out, everyone's trying to finish off all their alcohol.

Overall survey of the destruction:

Broken glass over much of the lounge, in several colors. Shattered exit signs in the red stairway and Matt and Liz's corner, with corresponding glass exit sign shards on the floor. A cable pulled out of a box in the ceiling, though this probably didn't hurt anything seeing as one end wasn't connected to anything in the first place. A cable-carrying tube torn down from the wall, the cable presumably now disconnected. A similar tube pulled somewhat away from the wall, but not actually torn down. The west side of the 3rd floor covered in all sorts of junk, cheese sauce included. A smashed cinderblock in the lower lounge. (Apparently, the source of this and the purple broken glass was that this cinderblock was dropped from the balcony onto a vase below. The cinderblock itself was one of several that had propped up Toney's bed.)

Wow Tufts, wow.

In addition, the all-floors elevator was out of operation due to a wire being cut, though if that was our fault, I don't know.

Bill never did... oh, I didn't mention that, did I? To copy from the week 8 house meeting minutes:

Bill makes a PROMISE:
If, in the last week that you are here, no-one gets kicked out of housing,
no-one does anything that makes Fiona and I totally crazy, I *will* moon the
housing office.

(Remember, that's a promise!)

Bill did not end up actually mooning the housing office due to the shit in the urinal (but that wasn't someone in Tufts, surely!) and something that was done to the elevators (they're the elevators! That could have been anyone!). Also because they hadn't yet actually given him the money for moving out.

In other news, I got a free book. So basically, because not everyone can or wants to store/ship/take home everything they have, at the end of the year, stuff just gets left in the lounge for whoever wants to take. Well, it wasn't in the lounge, but there was this copy of Foucault's Pendulum lying outside Armoskus's door for several days, and nobody seemed to have any idea who it belonged to, so I just took it. "Hey, free book." Good book, too - I wonder who left it there?

(So, I've brought all my boardgames home except Puerto Rico, YINSH, Ingenious, and both versions of Illuminati. The first 2 because I figured I should bring stuff that I haven't played as much/not as many people have, though that doesn't mean I left behind Settlers and Carc. :P The latter 3 because Ingenious is only eh and Illuminati I can't stand anymore, and, though I still have yet to actually play it, I doubt Crimelords is really that much better. I didn't bring the Dreamcast home. (That reminds me, did I mention that I plan to get a Wii? Well, I do. :) ))

Someone has taken all the leftover forks from study break the other day, stuck them in the ceiling outside Bill's room, and written "FORK YOU BILL" on Bill's whiteboard.
