Added a userpic

Yes, I know some of you change your userpics all the time without telling anyone. Personally, I don't get it - specific userpics are attached to specific entries/comments; if you change a userpic, you are retroactively changing a whole lot of stuff. And what happens if you delete one? Does it revert to the default? That is not how that entry was made! I don't know, but while I will occasionally retroactively edit an entry a few days afterward, or correct some spelling errors many months afterward, I don't think I could go and retroactively edit an entire *third* of the entries I've made, which would be about 300 at once.

Anyway, while the 3 I have have done me well for quite some time, I've taken advantage of the recent increase to 6 to add one more, the original Sonic picture. I'm applying it to this entry and retroactively to the S1&K entry from a few days ago. We'll see how much it gets used, and if I ever add another. (I have no idea what it would be.)

More nonsense

So I wrote up a simple (by which of course I mean very inefficient :P ) Dissociated Press implementation and was thinking of what I could test it on. I decided to try it on the Evil Overlord list. (That's what "Orphans will be melted down and properly grounded." came from, though that must have been with a continuity length of 2, as "down and properly" does not appear anywhere in the original file. The rest of these were done with continuity length 3.) Here are some good ones I got:

# My vats of hazardous chemicals will be preemptively put to death. My foes will surely give up and abandon their quest if they are standing together around a corner.

# I will spare someone who saved my life sometime in the inner sanctum -- a small hotel well outside my borders will work just as well.

All important systems will have helmets with clear plexiglass visors, not face-concealing ones.

# My ventilation ducts will be disposed of in incinerators, not compactors. And they will be neither chivalrous nor sporting.

# My Legions of Terror will have redundant control panels and power supplies.

# My security keypad will actually be important.

But, definitely the best so far:

# If I learn the whereabouts of the same party in the beautiful rebel and she
claims she is attracted to my roof, I will feel no need to prove it by leaving
clues in the past.

Wherein Harry gets a phone call

The phone goes off around 10:00 or so today. I'm getting ready to go to class. Alex[0] is sleeping. This happens every now and then, usually it's some telemarketer.

I pick up the phone.

"Hello, is this where Harry Altman lives?"
"Yes."
"Can I speak to him?"
"This is him."
"Harry! This is Lisa!" (I think, why would Lisa call me on the phone, especially at this time of day, on the room phone, and why didn't I recognize her?) "Why are random people poking me [on Facebook]?!" (Oh, hah! She didn't say "Lisa"! She said "Lisha"! I didn't recognize her!)
"Why are you calling me at 10 in the morning?! My roommate was asleep!"
Alex: No I wasn't. (Well he seemed to be snoring, that's usually a sign of sleep, but...)
"It's 2 in the morning over there?!"
"No, I said 10. 10 in the morning. Look, I'll talk to you later, OK?"

Wow. Amazing. I have a long ongoing poke war with Lisha on facebook. Finally I decided to set the Poke Army on her. I suppose it's nice to know that it worked to the point that she called me on the phone to shout at me...
