As you'll recall, Boz has moved out, and so Liz Goetz has taken her room. With a room vacant, and no second-years wanting to take it (the only second-years without singles now are Ben and Jack, and I don't think they're going to be moving anytime soon), it fell to lottery among the first-years. The people entering were me, Boy Alex, Mike, Ian, and Girl Sam. Girl Sam won.

But wait, there's more!

Jim summarized it to me as follows:
Vivian is displacing Meg, leaving Feldman roommateless. Lisa is moving into Tufts (yay!), displacing Girl Sam and Christine (I wonder how this works formally - probably Christine moves out (she's moving to Max), Sam pulls Lisa in, and then moves herself?), and Girl Sam and Meg are taking Liz Goetz's room.

I'm pretty sure that's all for now.

Hm, Liz Goetz's room. That reminds me of Australian Indoor-Rules Quidditch. That's Doug and Pavel's name for "We turn off the lights and throw at each other a ball which lights up for a few seconds whenever it hits something." I went and played that with them in Liz Goetz's mostly cleared-out room. I threw the ball at Pavel, but missed and hit the bed; it bounced off and hit me right in the right nut. Yay.

Normally I don't do this sort of thing, but why not...

Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 of your weird habits," and people who get tagged need to write a LJ entry about their 5 weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.

1. I crack my knuckles *thoroughly*. Most of my other joints too. Well, most joints I can only crack in one way, but thumbs I have two ways and other fingers I have 4. I think this is because of the 2 and 3 joints on fingers; two of the ways for fingers actually crack the same joint and so which actually works will depend on what order I do them in. I can even crack my jaw, although I think this is actually because it's slightly out of place and not very good for it. I can no longer crack my elbows.
2. Sometimes, especially when I've just woken up, I won't act while I can see or hear people moving. I'll stay in one place, or, if I'm doing something, I'll continue with what I'm doing even if this is not what I should do; I won't move from what I'm doing until nobody else is.
3. Whenever possible, I sleep with 2 pillows.
4. When I get a tune in my head, I tend to sing it, click my tongue to it, otherwise make sounds with my mouth imitating it (including banging my teeth together), or just drum it on whatever surface is available, including myself. Apparently most people don't do this.
5. I often wear my jacket indoors even when it is not necessary, simply because I am too lazy to take it off.

Oh, whoops, I forgot to tag 5 others in the original post...
I don't know...
Eh, forget it. Go tag yourselves.

In other news, I beat Time Attack mode on Mr. Driller! w00t! Now I have... an alternate costume. :P And also basically no Mr. Driller-ing left to do. Except playing Survival Mode over and over to see how far I can get (especially to go back and do it on the easier difficulties now that I'm better)... it's already ridiculously hard to beat the ADV levels in Time Attack, basically it requires a lot of precision in your motion, so once you've gotten to the point that you're within a second or a half-second of the goal time, the rest is just doing it over and over until you get it exactly right; once you've beaten a level on ADV, there's no point in trying to beat your time, because you've basically already done the level perfectly. You might be able to shave off a few hundreths or even tenths of a second, but there's no real fun in that. I could also go back and do the non-ADV levels perfectly, but that's also pretty pointless, for obvious reason. :P

More likely, I will go back to trying to get the Crazy Hand trophy. :D

Blech. I was very bored for much of last night. I was trying to start games of Settlers or Carc but couldn't. I mean, earlier I had thought I was bored and really wanted to play something multi-player other than Smash or Blitz or Melee (Now they play Blitz in the lounge almost as often as Smash), but I hadn't, not like last night. You really need to start with at least two people, then you get the "Hey, what are you guys playing?" effect - you'd think then I'd be able to manage it with Carc, since I'd already started two games of it, and then go from there, but I couldn't even find any players for Carc. When I was asking if people wanted to play Settlers, I even got one case of "I don't know what that is, so no." Blech blech blech. Of course eventually I got close to beating Mr. Driller and that wasn't so boring anymore, and then there was watching Jack and Jeff duel in Smash (Jeff is some guy who lived here last year and then joined the Marines), and then Jack and Frank, and then watching Kate be drunk until I went to bed... I could write more about that, but I don't think I will, I don't think I remember it well enough to tell it right.
