First - er, second - day of class

Oh, actually, one thing on that. I was about half an hour late to Hum because I forgot the room had changed. There was clearly a different class in the old room, so I searched up and down all of Cobb before finally remembering it wasn't *in* Cobb. So I headed back to the Reynolds Club to check my schedule on Cmore; turned out it was now in Harper. I guessed it was probably near the west end. It was all the way on the east end. Yay.
So, Honors Intro to CS, part 2. No longer with Dupont, now with Kurtz. Who said many funny things I probably should have written down but didn't. Here are some approximate quotes:
"The old teletype machines had for keys big cylinders that required nontrivial force to actuate. Never shake hands with an old programmer if he's got a grudge against you."
"How many of you have ever used a text editor?" [hands go up] "How many of you are only raising your hand because you think Microsoft Word is a text editor?"
[Last quarter you could get away with only working in DrScheme.]
...yeah, that's all I remember right now. This looks to be a fun class.
And also the return of Math 207, now Math 208. It seems Sally's actually not going to be teaching it in the spring, but for now, it's the same as ever. Though he says we'll be going much faster this quarter.
I have Anthony's ear. It's funny.
