Mr. Sally: Infinity doesn't cause us much trouble when it's finite.

(Meaning the ∞-norm is easily defined on Rn and Cn, as opposed to on infite-dimensional vector spaces.)

So over the weekend we had someone by the name of Jeff staying in the lounge. Now, really people not from the house are not supposed to be sleeping in the lounge like that, but we let it pass, because he was a friend acquaintance someone who had spoken to Lisa several times and who she wouldn't even friend on Facebook.

...wait, what?! Recall that Lisa is not actually of Tufts house herself!

Apparently he needed a place to stay for the weekend, and he asked Lisa for some reason, and she got Lucas to let him in (she gave the impression he was someone she actually knew).

So nothing bad came of it, he didn't steal our stuff or anything, but it was kind of weird. Nobody really knew why he was there. Some people got the idea he was a friend of Toney's, because there was a friend of Toney's here at about the same time as him. He just stayed in the lounge all the time. And always in the upper lounge, usually on the same couch. He was always just there, sometimes playing Smash but more often reading or sleeping. It was awkward.

So now that probably won't happen again...
