PROMYS, year 3: First entry

The other players have still made no comment on what I've done, but, checking the rules, there's a timing issue. I get my 310 Pears during this Interim, but the end-of-round condition is only checked at the end of turns. Thus, I will have to wait until the end of *this* coming turn (Saturday, 23:30 EDT) before I win, assuming the other players don't somehow stop me (which I'm pretty sure they can't do.)
Now, PROMYS.
First: returning students, counselors, other people I know.
...hm. I seem to have lost my list of people and room and counselor assignments. So I'll just do the most important ones.
Firstly: The Council of Doom! (And some others)
Josh is still a counselor, Eric the Red did end up a counselor, as you probably recall - in fact, he's my counselor. Matt is here, I'm here, Chris is here. Eric the Pen (Stansifer) is here. Missing are Steve, Mung, Dan Rubin, and Xiao. I did, however, manage to start a game of EAC pretty much immediately after registering. Of course, Matt hasn't yet learned the EAC missions...
Oh yes, I did manage to remember my password, hence how I'm writing this.
Annoying BCA boys: Unfortunately, we also have Michael Ty, Brian Lee, Chang Hoon Hahn, and Ben Yang. The last of whom *wince* happens to be Chris's roommate. I thought they wouldn't put two people from the same school together, but apparently not...
Josh has already started an Illuminati game, or at least I think he has. I'm actually the only one who brought a set this year; Josh and Rebecca both forgot. My Assassination card is missing, and I forgot the blanks; Josh suggested we let Flower Power act as Assassination, since the card is so useless. (Of course, it's not really much more useless than the other alignment cards, and it is triple income rather than double, but it still really is useless.)
Dustin and Lorelei are the head counselors; Fergie, Lucas, and Tom are the JCs. Some more returning counselors that I can remember right now: Bernie, Thanos, Issao. David Coley is a counselor now. Some counselors notably absent: Evan, Dina, Etienne.
Dustin still insists it's me, when quite obviously it's Dustin.
Veena, Rajesh's sister, is here. There's also some other kid from Glen Rock that I don't know.
...yeah, so not exactly very much has happened so far.
We had the start-of-the-year meeting, though not the floor meetings yet. At the former, Veena asked if there are any other facilities, like libraries, or - well, what she really wanted to know is, is there a pool?
Margie's answer: "We do have libraries, but you can't swim in them."
...yeah, that's all so far.
Oh, and Rosenberg, in talking about Geometry&Symmetry, said it would again end with Banach-Tarski, rather than with regular polytopes... hm.
UPDATE: Whoops, forgot some stuff. Funto is back. I should probably note that Caroline is back. And as for Dans... well, there's only 3 people here named "Daniel" this year - ADan, Tan Dan, and Counselor Dan, who is not the same Counselor Dan from two years ago. There is, however, a girl named "Danielle", who agreed to being called "She-Dan".
...now that, I think, is really it.
