Ad Hoc part 0, again

But if I know that if I can go and embarrass myself by telling the beginning of the story, I will not be so nervous about the rest. Don't think of it as telling people your secrets, Harry, just think of it as pressing a few buttons.
Sorry if that introduction doesn't match the story - although it certainly goes along with part 0, as you're about to see - as the story is, hopefully, funny. Anyway, here is Ad Hoc, part 0.
(In the end, my secrets simply can't compete with my desire to tell stories. :) )
ADDENDUM: Here, you can have part 1/2 as well; it's short and stupid, and, as you'll see tomorrow, wrong. I'd rather not waste an entire day on it. All that would do would be to annoy you guys.
