Meta-update

The subtitle of this LJ has been changed to "Five tons of flax"; the title of my friends page has been changed to "I don't know, man, I didn't do it".

"THIS looks like a job for emergency pants!"

It happened today that I opened my drawer and found no underpants inside. This happens a lot; thankfully, though, usually my mom goes "Oh that's OK, I just washed a bunch." Recently, though - as today - it's been happening more and more that she *won't* just have washed a bunch. Thankfully this hasn't yet happened on a school day, but...

Now, she's always been telling me, when you use up the last pair, *tell* her, so she can wash them. The problem is, I'm forgetful of this sort of thing, and I keep my underpants in the same drawer as my socks, which are also white - so it takes time to search through and determine that I really don't have any more. I am not going to remember to do this in the morning, nor would I want to take the time.

So, I have come up with a Plan.

I will keep all my underpants save one in the top drawer, as usual, and put the last one in the second drawer; this way, when I have to take from the second drawer, I'll both immediately know I have none left, and remember to tell her.

Yay!

Land grab 2!

This turn, I was going to march one of my armies down into Quiet Purple's territory - not his castle, the other space - and again offer him a peace treaty, pointing out that if he accepts, he won't lose his space. However, my draw from the DMT last turn said I could only move one army this turn, and I instead moved my other army up to help defend Jef against Irrelevant, figuring I would force QP into a peace treaty next turn.

But now Quiet Purple and Poe have *both* gone inactive.

Land grab time again... (only this time, I have a few spaces I can really be assured of).
