Huh? What?
Mar. 18th, 2005 10:59 pmSo Thursday I went to QB practice with a headache. I was really kind of out of it, even at one point buzzing in after another person on my team had already negged on it (luckily I got it wrong (though I shouldn't have :P (saying Einstein instead of Lorentz (though of course Chris (on the other team) got it anyway)))). I went home, took two Tylenol (can't take ibuprofen, remember)... after a while, nothing happens. I had intended to complete my senior seminar paper (due today), but instead I go to sleep until my mom wakes me up at 21:30 so I can eat my reheated dinner. I go to bed pretty much right afterward.
So I didn't get my paper done, but I was feeling *really* awake this morning. I can't recall not being tired in the morning for quite some time.
Back when I originally offered Jef (to my north) a peace treaty, I also offered one to Quiet Purple (small and to my south). Jef, as you know, accepted; Quiet Purple never got back to me. As you can see, I'm moving my armies towards his territory... I don't think I want to take the time to actually destroy him, but it's not very nice to not get back to someone when they ask you for a peace treaty. I think I'll ask him again soon... :)
Oh, colleges! Right.
Wash U - Waitlisted
From what I've heard, actually, lots of people got waitlisted from there. And Alex Zlotnik got in. Weird, huh? Well, I'll not bother staying on the waitlist.
Finally, Mickey recently got a new MP3 player, giving his old one to me. "Shouldn't you give it to someone who's actually going to use it?" I asked. "Everyone who does already has one," said he. So, um, MP3 player for whoever wants it. Also several batteries, a charger, and a CD containing the software for interfacing with Windows (or at least with Windows; dunno about other OSs). Although, it looks like Mickey may want it back for the time being. :P
