Jan. 4th, 2005 06:12 pmSo, our bus driver has been replaced. Meaning I have to pay attention on the way to and from school to make sure she gets the route right. I am beginning to wonder why I am always the one who ends up giving directions to alternate bus drivers.
Also, the Hooters next to the school has opened. There was, you may recall, some confusion before over whether or not seniors would actually be allowed to go there; the answer, SFAICT, is that nobody's yet gotten in trouble for it.
I just thought this was funny: I've often run into people telling me that some old teacher of mine from Glen Rock says "hi", but the other day Katya told me that she met Mr. Bentzen at Hooters, where she now has a job.
Amazingly enough, we are *actually learning something* in Mr. DeFalco's class! Namely how to program a CNC milling machine. It seems simple enough, but why does it have to be in all caps with no spaces? It makes it really hard to read. And *line numbers*?

unshaven lunatics often wander into engineering buildings. They should
stick to the English department where they got their PhDs."
