Year 4, Trimester 1: End
Nov. 24th, 2004 04:37 pmDr. Ostfeld: So why do you always call Harry "Gary" when you always used to call Gary Hsu "Harry"?
Dr. Galitskiy: I don't know.
Did I mention that I put my name as "Gary Altman" on my physics test? And Galitskiy didn't comment on it at all?
It occurred to me today that I have made very few entries in my Senior Experience logbook. So I wrote stuff I remembered about the days I forgot, got Mr. Holbrook to sign them all, and, well, school was ending and I couldn't find Mrs. Picinich so I just left it in the Senior Seminar room. Let's hope she gets it before she starts doing the grades.
The Senior Topics test had this neat question on it: Let f(x)=0∫x(2x-t)ng(t)dt. Find f'(x). Looks like a single-variable problem, but is there any reasonable single-variable way to do it? I don't think so. Simplest way is to introduce another function of 2 variables. Which is, of course, why he gave us that problem.
We had a QB practice yesterday, since there's no Thursday this week. The other team named itself "Dementia Patients". I heard this as "The Metric Spaces".
Oh, and I have sent out my application to every academy kid's favorite safety school. That's 3/10...
Now, stories of of public transportation!
( Last week's lesson: Check the text on the bus. )
( This week's lesson: Check the number on the train. )
Now, the Boomer Kuwanger story, as told to Mike.
( The Boomer Kuwanger story )
So, that ends this entry. Maybe later I'll make another one about Ryan's and my quest to find Mr. Sayres. Or just mine, rather, as Ryan apparently doesn't want to face the alligators.
