It's Mr. Sayres!

Lately I've replaced my habit of greeting anyone entering with a big "It's <name>!" with a universal greeting of "It's Mr. Sayres!" When the person looks at me strangely, I explain that no, you're not Mr. Sayres, but it *is* Mr. Sayres.
Anna seems to be disappointed that it's not her anymore.
Dr. Ostfeld tells me it's actually Joe Lurie, and Mrs. Dr. Crane said it's John Ahn, but no, it's Mr. Sayres.
Linda tried to convince me that it's actually some sort of bird, but eventually I found out she was actually talking about panda bears, and I'm sure it's not a panda bear, so I'm convinced it's actually Mr. Sayres.
Unrelatedly, I've actually been coming to afterschool quizbowl practice now. And I think Vlad is actually going to join. Yay! Right now our A team consists of me, Chris, Noam, and Mark.
In other news, I've just submitted the ruling that will end the round, that Looney's donation was legal. You know, even though round 4 seemed short, it was actually longer than round 3. Probably seemed that way because nothing much happened. On to Convention 4...
