Behold the magical icepack!
Oct. 2nd, 2004 04:51 pm[It's Friday; school is ending.]
Tom: Why are you going that way? [Away from the buses]
Me: To go get my lunchbox.
Tom: Why?
Me: To bring it home.
Tom: Why?
Me: I don't know... oh! I know! So as not to annoy my mom!
Tom: But why not bring it home tomorrow?
Me: Oh, at math team? Hm... because if I don't bring it home, the icepack will get cold!
After realizing what I had just said, I went around for the remaining few minutes of the day showing everybody my magical icepack.

"I give up," said Pierre de Fermat's friend. "How DO you keep a
mathematician busy for 350 years?"
