You're telling me[0]... that that creepy Shadow Nose guy... was Dr. D?!

*brain fries*

If anything he reminded me of *Avi*. Not... Dr. D...

*brain refries*

Refried brains. Sounds kind of like refried beans. Except I don't actually know what refried beans are, just that they give you gas. Not counting all the things already implicit in the name "refried beans".

...Monday, I am taking Munchkin to school, and showing Dr. D the "The Shadow Nose" card...

Wow. So many new LJs popping up. Or rather, me finding so many ones I didn't know about. But since all these seem to have been started within the last 2 months or so, I suppose my original comment is still valid. (Of course, I've only had this one for a little over a year...)

Anyway, yesterday I completely forgot to mention what happened when Rajesh taught the class. Although you can probably guess a bit of it. :P

See, since we've really finished everything we're doing in Calc, Dr. Vijaya has decided that people can teach the class for one day for extra credit. Most of the presentations have been good so far, even if a bit basic in some cases. Although Fan made the definite mistake of attempting to teach the class something that relied on *calculus of variations*. Now Rajesh...

Well, firstly, he made the same mistake as Fan. Not calculus of variations, I don't mean, but... well, come to think of it, he made a much *worse* mistake than Fan. He tried to teach something even *he* didn't understand. Specifically some stuff about the gamma and zeta functions.

It was clear from the start he had little idea of what he was doing. He was quickly booed off, the, ah, stage, except he had to stay on because that's what we were doing this class. What he did consisted mostly of some major handwaving, and, at the end, something just plain wrong. (Euler's derivation of ζ(2)=π²/6.) Few listened, most talked, largely to ridicule Rajesh. I think it's safe to say that nobody really learned anything.

Rajesh loses.

In other news... not only can I now not find my geology textbook or Robert, now I seem to have lost my jacket as well! This is getting ridiculous...
