Jun. 1st, 2004 10:16 pmWhat timezone does GameFAQs use? CST, is it? Well, regardless, as it's in the Americas, I won't be allowed to stay up late enough to see results till tomorrow. Too bad. I spent all of EDD just staring at that page, reloading constantly, saying aloud to myself how big the lead was currently, pointing out to Anand whenever the leader changed, and taking screenshots whenever I hit upon an exact 50-50 tie. Man, I seriously doubt there'll be another race as close as this. *sigh* I probably really could stay up just reloading until it finished, if I were allowed to stay up that late.
(Or, you know, if I were allowed to stay up that late, I could work on my Lit essay. But which do you think I would do?)
ADDITION: ACtually, now that I look it up, Sonic vs Samus was decided by only 34 votes. Wow. (For some reason I was thinking it was around 300 votes.) And if this continues as it is currently, it won't be as close as that. Of course, we have absolutely no assurance that it will continue as it is currently...
